Hi there,
In my cnc machine, I change out tools manually.
Every time I change a tool, I have to find the new tool height. I do this via my MPG, lowering the tool down on the Z axis until the tool touches the top of the stock. I then enter in the Z DRO value from the machine coord. into the Edit Fixture Offset table for G54.
Is there a way to get a screen button to enter in the Z value into the table for me?
Similar to how you press the fixture offset "set" button to enter ALL three axis automatically into the table, if I change my Z value, can I make a button so it updates only the Z value and does not affect X and Y?
Maybe a button that's called "Set Z"? See image attached.
Thanks in advance,
Cyprian

Hi Cyprian,
I believe the Zero button next to Z should do that if you have Zero Using Fixture Offsets set.
