Hi William,

That is basically exactly the same with a Data folder with a GCodeConfigCNC.txt with the KStep references.

Please send me the actual \KMotion\Data folder you are using.

Hi Tom

I had thought we referenced the Data folder in the CNC_George_CFiles.

However here is KMotion435f/Kmotion/Data.

KMotion435f is the version that currently works along with our C programs in CNC_George_CFiles

When we installed Kmotion 5.3.7. We have tried operating the machine with the default KMotion5.3.7/Kmotion/Data. And we have also tried replacing KMotion5.3.7/Kmotion/Data folder with the one from KMotion435f/Kmotion/Data. Didn’t seem to have any impact on the issue we are seeing with Kmotion5.3.7.

Have we potentially missed something here with the transition over from Kstep boards to the SnapAmps that is problematic for the new software versions?

William

Hi William,

Thanks for that. But this is the Data folder from the configuration that works, and it does properly reference the SnapAmp files. But I really wanted the Data folder from the 5.3.7 installation that shows the problem. I would like to verify everything was updated properly as well as try to duplicate the problem with exactly the configuration that shows the problem. Could you post that? I know you said you copied the folder so it should be the same, but maybe something got modified. Thanks.

Okay, here is the data folder KMotion5.3.7/KMotion/Data

Just to be sure, I have run the G code file again with this configuration and it faults.

Hi William,

I see now a bug regarding on how the OutputOffset was being applied (PWM channel was used as an Axis channel to get the offset).

Please apply this patch to see if it resolves the problem. The KFLOP Firmware needs to be updated. After Updating it should report as Version 5.3.7X

Please copy these 2 files to the \KMotion5.3.7\DSP_KFLOP folder. Then Flash new Version to KFLOP.

DSPKFLOP.out
DSPKFLOP.sym

Please let us know if it resolves the issue.

I have installed the patch and everything is now running as it should.
Thank you so much for your help again, Tom. Your support is the best!
