Hi Tom, is there any way to prevent the Keyboard Jog function to stay active. Every time the dropdown is
opened in the MDI mode the keyboard function is disable. Very frustrating when moving around
a large machine.
Thanks
George

Hi George,
That would be somewhat dangerous. Some Users would expect when an edit control is selected to be able to move the cursor with the arrow buttons and not have it unexpectedly Jog the machine. Actually I see now a bug where clicking in the MDI Edit Control (not the drop down) the Keyboard Jog is not disabled.
You can toggle back to Keyboard Jog mode using F2.
Can you think of a better solution that isn't dangerous?

Hi Tom, the F2 works for me. About the danger side, I don't see what the issue would be. Yes if
you type a command into MDI without the drop down the Keyboard stays active which is what I
have been doing. I personally think that is fine and don't see where the danger would come from.

Hi George,
The danger would be the Operator types a long MDI command and sees a typo near the beginning so he/she attempts to use the arrow keys to go back and fix it but instead the X axis moves. Try it, carefully. We plan to disable Keyboard Jog in the next Version when you click in the MDI control.

Ok, got it. The F2 works fine. Would there be a function key list that I can
go over.
George
