can you not change the id of an axis?

i wish i could just change Y into A

No. Hide Y and move A there.

my 3 axis example does not show the extra 3 axis (abc)
can i copy A from another and paste over Y?

It’s probably off screen. Temporarily make the screen bigger. Or do a Find of PosA.
