Hi everybody,
I drive four stepper motor with a Kflop and Kanalog. I would like add a feedback to my system using differencial encoders.
Can I use Kanalog? If yes, how plug the boards?
Thanks
Raf

Re: Use KAnalog with Kflop+Kstep
Hi Raffaello,
Kanalog and KStep are not normally used together as Kanalog requires connecting to KFLOP JP7.
If you want to use them together connect Kanalog to KFLOP JP7 and connect KStep to KFLOP JP5. Everything will function on Kanalog except JP2. You may connect your differential encoders to Kanalog JP1. The Extra Opto IO on KStep will not be available. You will also need to wire +5V, GND and Enable to KStep J6.
Another approach would be to add 3rd party differential receivers and connect the single ended signal to KFLOP. Such as these.
