Hurrah, hat was the solution.
Usually I did check the sub directory box, but then I always selected the i386 directory.
I have the 64 bit version of Win10. I do wonder why pointing directly at Dynoprt.inf does not work.

Great. Thanks for your patience and for taking the time to post back.Hurrah, that was the solution.
We use the Dynobus.inf Library USB interface not the Dynoport.inf COM Port USB interface.I do wonder why pointing directly at Dynoprt.inf does not work.

Now the driver decided to show up in Driver Manager, perhaps with a useful message of "This device is not working"
It appeared to apply the changes, but still no wifi.
