Hi Scott,
I think it mostly works, but there is an issue with the Jog Buttons because Windows assumes you want a right click for a touch and hold on the screen. I think there are now options in the control panel to disable this. But other places you may want to do a right click. A workaround is to do a touch and drag on the screen for a left click hold function. It probably depends on your device and Version of Windows. Or maybe do Jogging with an MPG. You can always modify the source code if you have some other solution.

Re: SETTING UP KFLOP, KANALOG FOR NEW CNC ROUTER RETROFIT
Hi Tom.
I am looking at the leadshine's website, i need to choose a servo drive for a new cnc project, there are many options for input command source on the 220v AC EL7 series servo drives.
1: pulse and direction
2: mode bus RTU/pulse and direction/Analog input
3: EtherCat
4: EtherCat/pulse and direction/Analog input
so i assume that the one i need for interface to kflop is the option 1; pulse and direction only right? since there is no way to interface kflop to EtherCat or
modebus RTU, i know is possible to interface kanalog to analog input but is not this case, so i am right?, what would you recommend.
Thanks in advance
Noel

Hi Noel,
Yes pulse and direction. Or analog if you have a Kanalog.

Hi Tom
can i interface Kflop to a small machine without konnect boards, using my own opto coupler design card?

Hello Tom
it is possible to create a C program and add a button to enable mirror machining with the same g code, like many machines does it, for example for cabinet opposite parts with the same hinge and shelves boring etc.
thanks

Hi Noel,
You might have a C Program that reverses the direction of an axis.

Hi Tom
i have an other question.
i am trying to find out how to set the machine to make smooth transitions from one segment to an other, lets say it start cutting a straight line at 400 ipm, then slow down almost stop at the corner make the turn and accelerate again to the next point, like driving a car.
it is all this controlled by the parameters facet angle, corner tolerance, collinear tolerance, break angle?
thanks in advance
