Hello, we are retrofitting a precix 9100 router, and trying to control it with a kflop/kanalog controller.
Machine specs :
motors T31-25 brushed DC 75V motors
amplifiers : Copley 800-760 (=4122CE)
encoders : RENCO RM21 - 20000 pulses/rev
Kflop/kanalog is completely connected to amplifiers and encoders.
Amplifiers react to on/off signals from controller
We tried several days to find a correct configuration for the X-axis (rest comes later) but no success.
We are not experianced with configurating DC motors, so need help to get it running correctly.
Is there any step by step procedure to follow ?
What are basic settings to start with ?
With the settings as in attachments, the motor runs left/right as supposed to, but seems week, and does not lock position.
Thanks for any advice or info
Luc,

Re: precix9100 retrofit
Hi Luc,
Parameters in C file don't match what is in the screen shots.
Velocity of 12 million counts/sec is crazy high and beyond KFLOP's spec. You are only testing 0.35 million counts/sec. See here.
I gain seems somewhat high but has no effect with I limit set to 0
D gain seems low
P gain seems low
You might follow the tuning steps in our wiki.
