Going from KFLOP to KOGNA

Hi there,

Thrilled to see a 16 axis board! Currently, I have a KFLOP setup that is working. Can the KOGNA be a drop-in replacement for the KFLOP?

How much, or if any, code will I have to re-write to migrate from KFLOP to KOGNA?

When reading the KOGNA documentation I noticed the section that says:
KFLOP Equivalent Connectors J6, JR1, JP2, JP4, JP5, JP6, and JP7.
These connectors have equivalent pin outs and functionality as the connectors on KFLOP.
Does this mean that I can reuse the same code from the KFLOP on the KOGNA or will I have to make significant changes to my code?

Thanks,
Cyprian

Hi Cyprian,

Kogna is software and hardware compatible with KFLOP, with the exception of an Ethernet Connection instead of USB. No changes should be required except to utilize the additional capabilities of Kogna.
