I have a KFLOP controller with a Kanalog board driving two H2W Technologies linear motors via two AMC AB30A200AC drives. The drives take PWM/DIR for inputs (although they will also take +/- 10 Volts if required).
The PWM outputs to the drives are on the KFLOP JP6.5 (PWM0) and JP6.6 (PWM1). Where do I put the Dir signals? They should go into JP7.16 and 18, but JP7 goes to the KANALOG board and I can't see where these signals are routed.

Re: KFLOP with KANALOG connections: PWM/DIR to driver
Hi pblase,
You can use any free output as the Direction signal as you will need to control the direction with software. See our wiki here for pwm output mode.
But since you have a Kanalog it should be simpler and easier to use +/-10V analog which is directly supported. This should also provide better performance as the Analog would have higher resolution and performance.
I think you will need to connect hall sensors to that amplifier for the commutation. I would expect current mode to work best.

Thank you. There are Hall sensors and they go right to the driver amp.
