The FPGA(STEP_PULSE_LENGTH_ADD) command is not having any effect.

Hello. We are experiencing an issue that seems to require more expertise, i.e., internal knowledge of the product.
The problem is:
Kflop generates inconsistent pulse widths between different channels despite both channels running the same code with the same parameters. On one channel the width of the low pulses is less than a uSEC and does not vary in rate. The FPGA(STEP_PULSE_LENGTH_ADD) command is not having any effect.
We have debugged as much as we can with the knowledge of the product we have and need a consultant. Is this the correct forum to ask about consultants?

Hi,
Our KFLOP has only one Step Pulse Width setting for all 8 channels. Our Kogna Controller has the capability of setting the pulse width independently for each Step/Direction Generator. Are you sure you have a KFLOP and not a Kogna? It should not be possible to set different pulse widths on KFLOP.
Please post the initialization C Program you are using and how you are testing and measuring.
We provide a consulting service where we connect into your system and help with troubleshooting, configuration, programming, tuning, etc for a fee. We charge $250/hr with a 2 hr minimum. Contact our support (@) dynomotion (dot) com to request an invoice and to schedule a time.

Thanks Tom. We will get our lab in order for a remote support session. I'm assuming you will want to be able to control the remote system. I have to go to D.C. for a week but when I come back I will set the lab up and make an appointment. The boss, Noah Israel, whom you've already done some work for on this system will be happy to hear of Dynomotion involvement. How long is your support queue? I want to set the correct expectations.

Hi,
We can normally schedule within several days. We like to use TightVNC to connect to the system. Please download and install before any session. Have a good trip.
