Hello Tom,
we have built a palletizer using a kflop, a snapAmp and a konnect.

The palletizer has been working relatively well for 2 years, but for some time we had a problem with the connection to the PC (Read Failed - Auto Disconnect) randomly.

Physically, he hasn't changed for several months.

We are trying to find the cause of these stops.

Do you have any idea that what can be done to diagnose the problem and/or fix it ?

The kflop is powered by a power supply.
Can we try to power the kflop through the USB port?

USB power might be insufficient to power 3 boards.

You might first determine if KFLOP is being reset or there is a problem with USB communication. One trick is to do something like turn off a KFLOP LED during initialization. If the LED comes back on then KFLOP was reset.
