Have to hit home button twice?

Hi folks,
I was hoping somebody could help me track down a small issue I'm having. When I first initialize/connect KmotionCNC to my CNC router, I have to hit home twice to get it to home. The first time it always acts like it's tripping a sensor on the Y axis (DRO goes yellow on Y). If I click it a second time, then all goes as planned and it homes fine. What's interesting is if I keep KmotionCNC open, hit the initialize button again and then try to home, I can get it to home on the first click. It only does this double-click deal when I freshly boot the KFLOP board, but it does so every time.
I do have a dual screw/dual servo setup on the Y-axis, so it makes me wonder if it has something to do with that. Any ideas on a troubleshooting process I could go through to track this down? It's not the end of the world to have to do this, but I'd love to work the kinks out.
