Tool Setup Screen backup

I ran into a problem today. I was running my mill with Kmotion cnc and there was a power outage. When I booted the system back up a box came up on my screen saying the tool data file could not be found. I hit OK and it opened a basic screen layout that was not my normal screen and al the settings and data on the tool setup page is blank. Is there a way to retrieve this data? Also what file is it stored in? I did this retrofit about 3 years ago and up until this point it has been running great.

Hi Joe,

The settings are saved in \KMotion\Data\GCodeConfigCNC.txt. In Versions newer than a few years, there is also a GCodeConfigCNC.txt.bak as a backup that will automatically be used if the primary is missing or corrupted.

You would need to restore GCodeConfigCNC.txt from a backup.
