Home Position Machine Coords Offset

Post by Chevvron » Thu Jan 22, 2026 9:29 pm

Tom,
Thanks for the help with geometric correction over long axis travels late last year.
Last week we did a 50 metre error correction run in 250mm increments.
The error correction worked well.

We now the original Machine and the new on on tge same X axis track using the same X axis Machine coordinate system.
I have the new Kogna Machine homingvat the 50 metre end.
Is there a way to set the machine position and destination to 50 metres after homing as opposed to setting zero ?

Quite often we have 3 machines on the same X axis track with an individual machine homing at either end and the middle Machine homing in the ce tre but all machines using a common X axis machine coordinate system.

Regards,
Tim

Hi Tim,

Great would love to see a video.

EnableAxisDest(ch, X); will enable the axis and set the current Destination to X. Do you have encoders? If so the encoder Position should also be set to X with ch->Position = X;

HTH
