Installation error with windows 7

Hi Tom,

Im trying to setup a second mill and when I install kmotion cnc i get some kind of an error with the .net framework. I remember having trouble with this years ago with my other computer but somehow got it sorted out.

Trying to install V4.35B and the computer has win 7 SP1. I have tried doing offline updates but still doesnt fix it. Cant seem to connect computer to network yet. working on that next.

Should I give up on windows 7 and just get windows 10? Thanks.

Hi Mark,

W7 should work. But I would move to W10 or W11.

Actually you shouldn’t need .NET to run KMotion.exe or KMotionCNC.exe.

What error do you get?
