I run a gcode but found that real displacement of gantry is different with the coordinates in gcode in at least one axis, for example in Y axis direction. But the X,Y,Z numbers displayed in Kmotion CNC screen are as same as the X,Y,Z coordinate values in gcode. Then I do a test that used the KmotionCNC Jog button to run the gantry. The configuations in KmotionCNC screen is: Machine Coord, mm unit, abs Coordinates. I also found the actual Y axis displacement of gantry is different with the Y axis numbers displayed in KmotionCNC screen. There is a big differrence between them. I use 5 step motors to drive 3 axises of the gantry without any encoders, that means it is a open loop system. I doubt there are some errors on the parameter configurations of step motor to cause this problem. So how can I calibrate the system to make the coordinates values in gcode and the X-Y-Z coordinate values displayed in KmotionCNC screen, are as same as the real displacements of gantry, ?
