I think I have enough to get started - this will be a slow side project but will report back if more questions/issues
Thanks again.
Also, I have been getting a lot of server 503 errors when trying to respond to this forum. Is that something on my end or just something I have to learn to work around?

Re: Single KSTEP STEP/DIR from JP26 & JP36
I guess a final question - will I ruin something this way if I accidentally configure the wrong channel in the config and flash screen? Would I be better off doing all step/dir through JP26 and not connecting JP36 (just jumpering power, gnd + enable between kstep J6 and kflop JP7)?

Single KSTEP STEP/DIR from JP26 & JP36
I see that KSTEP can accept STEP/DIR signals from both JP26 and JP36, and I have done so successfully using 2 KSTEPs in another system. However, now I am building a new system with just a single KSTEP and am hoping to use JP36 for X/Y STEP/DIR and JP26 for Z STEP/DIR. Is this possible and how? The r...

Upload GCode to KFLOP and run without PC?
I thought I came across that this was possible a while back but cannot seem to find it again if so... Is there a way I can upload a GCode file to the KFLOP and run the program without the PC? I am running long (weeks) tests on a pick and place robot and currently am just using GCode to execute cycle...

Re: motor squealing kstep + kstep via jp26
That should work. Did you have the 2 J6 terminals wired together as shown here?. Did the motor have holding torque? No I did not have the wiring like you show there - thank you. After doing this I can now control motors on outputs 12-15. (This is a tough project for me to intermittently do on the b...

motor squealing kstep + kstep via jp26
So I have a Kflop + 2 KSteps to drive a pick and place robot. There is an X/Y table for motion (running 3 motors; y axis is gantry) and 4 vertical actuators to run Z,A,B,C independently for pick/place 4 items at a time. I built the first part (X/Y and just one vertical actuator Z) which worked well,...

Re: Continue GCode w/ Axes Disabled
The sensors are unrelated to the kflop system, so they are connected through the dev board into a separate computer. I am just using a Kflop system to pick and place weights in repeatable locations on the sensors and record data from those sensors. I wasn't hoping for any axis to move when disabled ...

Continue GCode w/ Axes Disabled
So I built a pick-and-place robot with Kflop + Kstep to test some sensors I am using - my problem right now is the electronics that I am using to read these sensors is built on development boards and is pretty much impossible (at this point) to shield from motor noise. If I kill the motor power howe...

Re: ADD 2 more axis to KMotionCNC interface
Tom,
Is there documentation somewhere to show how to do this? I also want to add U,V to the DRO fields but can't figure out how to add things in the screen editor, only hide/show, resize, etc.
